• Mobile phone number (used for authentication via OTP)

• Venue coordinates (latitude/longitude) when creating league venues

Player Profile Information

• Profile photo and thumbnail
• Nickname, biography, and YouTube video links
• Physical attributes: height, weight, dominant hand/foot
• Sport profiles: sport, variant, primary and secondary roles
• Jersey details: number, size, sleeve preference

League & Franchise Information

• League name, season, sport, dates, and venue details
• League banners and logos
• Franchise names, descriptions, and logos
• Player join requests and franchise join requests
• Fixtures, match dates and times, results, and the venue each match is played at
• Sponsor names, logos, and website links added by a league owner

Organization Information

• Organization name, type, registration or affiliation number, and logo
• Organization location: state, district, and place
• Membership and roles, and the invitations you send or receive

Usage & Device Information

• Device push notification token (for sending notifications)
• A device identifier, used to register this device for notifications
• Device model, operating system version, and app version
• App crash reports and diagnostic data
• Analytics events recording which screens you open and which actions you take, so we can understand how the app is used
• On Android, an advertising identifier provided by your device. We use it only for analytics measurement — we do not use it to show you advertisements and we do not share it with advertisers
• On Android, the Google Play install referrer, which tells us which link or campaign brought you to the app
• In-app activity related to leagues, auctions, and requests

Contacts — only if you choose to use them

In the mobile app, when you invite someone to your organization, you can pick their number from your device's contacts instead of typing it. If you do, we ask your permission and then read your address book on your device only, so that you can search it inside the app. Your contacts are never uploaded to Gaim.zone and we never store them. Only the name and number of the contact you actually select is sent, and only to create that invitation. You can use every part of the Platform without granting this permission.

• Show you leagues and players relevant to your location

• Display your franchises and enrolled leagues across sessions

To Communicate With You

• Send push notifications for league events, auction updates, and request status changes
• After a league you played in has ended, invite you to endorse the skills of a franchise teammate. These prompts show that teammate's name and profile photo, are limited to one per day, and can be turned off under Notification Preferences
• Respond to support messages sent through the Contact Us feature
• Notify you of changes to your account or this Privacy Policy

With Other Users

• Your published player profile — name, photo, sport details, and the location from your account, down to the town or village — is visible to other users based on your Player Listing Visibility setting. The postal code you gave us is never shown on your profile. Turning off Player Listing Visibility removes your location from your profile and from the player search
• Your franchise information is visible to league admins and other league participants
• League organisers can view your join request details, including any documents you submitted
• Your mobile phone number is shared with the League Owner and franchise owners of that league when you join as a player, and with the League Owner when you join or create a franchise in their league. This is to facilitate direct coordination between organisers and participants
• League Owners can export the details of the players and franchises in their league — including mobile phone numbers — as a CSV or PDF file on their own device. Identity and address proof documents are never included in these exports. Our Terms require League Owners to use exported data only to run their league and to keep it secure

With Third-Party Service Providers

• Firebase (Google) — push notifications, crash reporting (Crashlytics), app performance monitoring, and Google Analytics for Firebase, which records app usage events
• SMS and WhatsApp messaging providers — delivery of your one-time password to your phone number at sign-in
• Google Maps Platform — venue search and location autocomplete
• Google reCAPTCHA — bot prevention on forms such as Contact Us
• YouTube (Google) — when a profile includes a YouTube link, the video is played inside the app using Google's embedded player, which collects its own viewing data under Google's privacy policy
• Cloud storage providers — secure storage of uploaded images and documents

We Do Not

• Sell your personal data to third parties
• Share your information with advertisers, or use your data to show you advertisements
• Upload your device contacts, or store them on our servers
• Disclose any identity or address proof document you submitted before September 2026 to other users

Legal Disclosures

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gaim.zone, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If Gaim.zone is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Links to Other Sites

Sponsor logos, league descriptions, and player profiles may link to websites we do not control, including YouTube. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their practices — please read their own policies before using them.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

Account Deletion

• You may request account deletion at any time through the app (Profile → Delete Account)
• Deletion requests are reviewed and processed within 30 days
• Deletion will not be approved if there are ongoing leagues or pending activities associated with your account
• Once deleted, your data is permanently removed and cannot be restored
• A new account created with the same mobile number will have no link to the previous account's data

Access and Correction

You can view and update your personal information at any time through your User Profile or Player Profile in the app.

Player Profile Visibility

You can control who sees your player profile by setting your Player Listing Visibility to "Everyone", "Joined" (only leagues you've joined), or "None" (hidden). This can be changed at any time.

Notifications

You can manage your notification preferences through the Notification Preferences screen accessible from the side menu. You may also disable push notifications through your device's system settings.

Account Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Submit a deletion request through the app (Profile → Delete Account).

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

• OTP-based authentication (no passwords stored)
• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure cloud storage for uploaded files
• reCAPTCHA verification to prevent automated abuse
• Access controls limiting who can view sensitive data

Gaim.zone is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.

This Privacy Policy, and any dispute relating to privacy or your personal data, is governed by the laws of India, except where the law of your own country requires otherwise. Any such dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
