Rules for when something goes wrong mid-auction
Most rule books cover bidding and budgets and say nothing about mistakes. These three save an argument on the night. Gaim.zone enforces all of them — but write them down whatever you run your auction on.
Voiding the player on the block
The League Owner may cancel the lot currently being bid on — wrong profile, wrong photo, a bid that was plainly a slip. The player returns to the pool unsold and no points change hands. Say in advance who may call it, and that the call is final.
Revoking a completed sale
A sale can be undone after the fact: the player goes back into the pool and the franchise gets its points back. Decide up front how late this is allowed — “until the next player is published” is a clean line — and that the voided lot stays in the auction record.
Pausing the auction
Two kinds of pause: after the current player finishes, or right now with the running lot voided. Write down which one a power cut calls for, and what happens to squads that are not yet full when the room is finished for good.
